Arani Power Systems Bags a prestigious order for 27 MW steam turbine

Arani has bagged a prestigious order of 27 MW TG package for sugar cogeneration (Double extraction condensing) against stiff competition from both national and international players. The client is a large sugar plant in the state of Karnataka namely M/S Shree Prabhu lingeshwar Sugars & Chemicals Ltd who are also the opinion leaders in the sugar industry. The Consultants for this project are a well known and leading sugar co-generation consultant in India ,namely M/S Avante Garde Engineers & Consultants (P) Ltd of Chennai. They have been consultants to many co-generation projects of this nature. The Arani Poweer scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacture, test run, supply, erection and commissioning of steam turbine along with other balance of plant like Generator, condenser, gear box and all other controls and protections systems Mr.K.Ch.Peraiah Managing Director of Arani mentioned that technical superiority is one of the key factors in clinching the order , as the turbine is customized to suit the Indian operating conditions besides being energy efficient and cost effective.
